Dr. Les Laughren (Retired)

Dr. Les Laughren completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1975. He then started a small private practice in Milton, which at that time was a small but growing town. In 1988, after many months of renovations, he moved his practice to its current location at 87 Martin Street. This has been the home of Martin Street Optometry for nearly 30 years.

Dr. Laughren is an active member of the community, and served on the Milton Town Council for several years. He has a strong commitment to serving his patients. He is privileged to have formed many lifelong friendships with his patients.

As of January of 2016, Dr. Les Laughren has retired. He has happily passed the practice over to his trusted associate, Dr. Klaming. After practicing optometry for 40 years, we wish him all the best as he begins this next chapter in life! Please see the letter that Dr. Laughren has written to his patients, which is posted here on our website.
