Dr. Sharon Kang received her Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, where she graduated with Distinction. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, graduating with Honours.
Dr. Kang first became interested in the eye when she experienced an injury to her orbital bone from a softball game. During that time, the healthcare team was very thorough with her care, which piqued her interest in the eye and optometry.
Dr. Kang is a firm believer of lifelong learning and is passionate about helping her patients learn more about their own eye conditions. When not in the office, Dr. Kang enjoys rock climbing, volleyball, snowboarding, travelling, and spending time with her dog, family, and friends.
